CLASSIC RADIATOR FACTS

Since the invention of the automobile late in the 19th century, automobile manufacturers have tried to find ways to keep engines cool and passengers warm. There have been some very unique cooling system solutions (see the 1907 Renault below for one of the most unique attempts). Their efforts have resulted in many various designs to transfer heat. While almost all of these designs are based on the laws of thermodynamics (some more loosely than others), they can all be repaired, rebuilt or recreated here at Classic Radiator!

TUBULAR RADIATORS

There have been many design changes to tube-&-fin radiators over the decades, including flat fin and corrugated copper cores, as well as all-aluminum radiators and plastic tank radiators utilizing either copper or aluminum cores.
