A Brief History of Classic Radiators & Heaters

Two decades after creating Cap-A Radiator in Farmingdale NY, Bill Carberry formed Classic Radiators and Classic Heaters because he realized that classic car owners would come from all over the northeastern United States to have him repair their heater cores and radiators. Customers at Hershey and Carlisle swap meets explained to him that most radiator shops were unable - or unwilling - to repair antique and vintage radiators. Most of these classic car owners were willing to pay shipping in addition to the cost of repairing their cooling system parts, or bring them to him in Pennsylvania. Today, a quarter-century removed from those formative days, Classic Radiator & Classic Heaters are the most recognized and respected in the industry! Many of the classic car owners across the country, and even around the world, consider Classic the only place to get their heaters and radiators recored, repaired or replaced. We can restore radiators on the most classic European cars. We have rebuilt radiators for Bugatti, Rolls-Royce, Talbot-Lago, Panhard, Delahey, Bentley & many more!

The Brass Era of automotive production was defined by the beautiful radiators. Trust Classic Radiator to restore your radiator's functionality and beauty!

There are very few radiator shops capable of recoring 1928-1930 Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth radiators like this one.

Now that we've merged with Acme, our product lines have expanded to include not only vintage car and light truck parts, but modern cars, vans, SUVs and heavy duty commercial trucks from all eras. We also service radiators for agricultural vehicles, loaders, lift trucks, dock vehicles, and as always, motorcycle gas tanks and radiators. We also clean, repair and restore marine heat exchangers, as we have for many decades, here on Long Island. Please browse the entire site to see what we're capable of doing to service your automotive cooling, heating and air conditioning problems.
